Review: More Jade by Laura Pavlov

Star Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Steam Level: 🔥🔥

The first time Jade Moore meets Cruz Winslow, he’s in a pretty…precarious situation. Saying they get off on the wrong foot is the understatement of the century, but the more class time and tutoring sessions they spend together, Cruz shows Jade there’s more to him than the cocky, arrogant rock star. And Jade realizes that she’s way more than a Type A, organized, smarty-pants. They’re the epitome of opposites attract and in the best and most adorable way. Cruz takes it slow with the inexperienced Jade, surprising his friends and even himself with the tenderness that seems to come naturally when he’s with Her. But as Cruz’s music career begins to take off and Jade’s freshman year of college comes to and end, it’s clear their lives are heading in two different directions.

Umm so I kind of finished this book in two sittings, so I think it’s safe to say I LOVED it. I love Cruz. I love Jade. I love the way they are together. I just really loved it. Laura’s writing is beautiful and fun and captivating. I was hooked on the story from the very beginning. And it was SO refreshing for me to read a New Adult Romance with an inexperienced and naive heroine who isn’t super annoying and immature. Jade is smart and fierce and knows exactly what she wants out of life and embraces and welcomes Cruz into hers rather than molding into his. I love a strong female lead and Jade is exactly that. And Cruz? One hundred and ten percent book boyfriend material. The best part? Their story isn’t over! This is the first book in a trilogy and I CANNOT WAIT to see where Laura takes us on this journey!

Thank you so much to the author and Give Me Books PR for the e-arc in exchange for my honest review. More Jade is out today!
