Review: Get A Life, Chloe Brown

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Steam Level: 🔥🔥🔥🔥

After a sort of, but not really near-death experience, Chloe Brown decides its time to move out on her own and get a life. The last person on Earth she thought would be the best fit to help her is her new building’s superintendent, Redford Morgan. In theory, they can’t stand each other. They’re polar opposites; couldn’t be a worse fit. But Chloe’s got secrets and issues that only Red seems to be able to help her through. And Red’s got demons that only Chloe can keep at bay.

This book knocked me on my ass in the best possible way. I heard really great things and it sounded right up my alley, but I had no idea I would love it as much as I did. I loved Chloe’s awkward floundering as much as I loved her quit wit. Red was boyish and goofy, yet capable and charming. I wasn’t expecting to love them together so much but okay hi, the steam was off the damn charts and their chemistry was completely undeniable. I honestly don’t think I have ever read a book with such filthy yet beautifully written love scenes. Chloe’s chronic illness was highlighted in the most tactful of ways, allowing the reader to to sympathize but more importantly to understand how brave one must be to live with debilitating pain on the daily. Excuse me while I add every Talia book to my TBR, because I just found myself another favorite author!

Thank you to Libro.fm for the ALC. Chloe Brown is available now and this is one you are not going to want to miss out on!
