Review: Hating the Boss by Kristen Granata

Genre: Romantic Comedy

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

Steam Level: 🔥🔥🔥

One night. That’s all it was supposed to be.

Imagine my surprise when Mr. Sexy in a Suit breezed through the door on the first day of school. Ladies and gentlemen, meet my new boss. Not only does he instantly recognize me, but he accuses me of stealing something valuable from him the morning I walk-of-shamed out of his apartment. When bullying me into a confession doesn’t work, he turns my life into a living nightmare – as if that will coax me into returning what I supposedly stole. But this is my school, and the only thing I’ll be returning is payback. Game. On. There’s only one problem. I wanted him before I hated him, and even now, a part of me still wants him. Somehow, through all of our fighting, through the anger and the pranks, I think I’m falling in love with the enemy.

So, I knew Kristen was funny but guys? She’s really, really funny. Quick, witty, and unique, this book was just such a fun and hilarious ride. I’m a huge fan of enemies to lovers and this one did not disappoint. The characters are instantly likable, have amazing chemistry, and it’s hard to figure out which one you’re rooting for half the time because they’re both so damn cute and funny. It’s not hard to believe that Kristen draws from personal experience because while yes, this is still a RomCom, it was perfectly down to earth. And the steam? Uhhh YEP. It’s steamy and delightful and excuse me, Jaxon but why are you so dreamy and perfect even when you’re being a giant ass? Also, I would totally be best friends with Raegan in a dang heartbeat. So yeah, I’m gonna need SO MANY MORE RomComs from this author STAT, please and thanks.

Thank you so much to Kristen for the review copy. Hating the Boss is out TODAY! Scoop it up on Amazon & Kindle Unlimited 🍎💕
